I’m sick of this love/hate relationship I have with my hair. She’s beautiful and all, but way too high-maintenance for me. I can’t expect people to accept me when I’m not accepting of my hair, which is figuratively a mirror image of me. So I went on a mission to embrace my hair, and bring back its vibrancy. This epiphany about my hair was such a wakeup call. I realized that my hair wouldn’t be so high-maintenance if I proactively gave it the care it needed.
