Don’t judge a book by its cover is a profound saying that people still don’t abide by. Because let’s be real, if covers didn’t matter then books wouldn’t have them. Covers immediately grab your attention, while succinctly giving insight about its tale. It’s the same concept as people splurging on wrapping paper, as if the package matters as much as the gift inside. And if we’re being honest, the same goes for people. Of course I know my appearance will never be able to completely convey my story. But I like to think of it as my preview. And I know I’m not the only one who likes getting to the movie theater in time to watch previews. They pique your interest and are exciting to watch. So it’s obvious why cool perfume bottles compel me to make a purchase before I even smell the fragrance. Presentation is everything.
